An all-in-one, multi-task laminating press, the TRANS-FORMER changes from 3-D thermoform laminating to 2-D hot or cold laminating in less than 5 minutes. The standard machine is equipped to thermoform PVC and Kydex® films without the use of a membrane. You can hot laminate cut-to-size components or up to 4x8 panels with HPL or veneer to handle your just-in-time laminating needs. You can also cold press a stack of panels when needed.
The TRANS-FORMER features state-of-the-art membrane-less technology. Working without a membrane makes financial sense. It saves thousands of dollars per year in replacing silicon membranes. The TRANS-FORMER reliably laminates films as thin as 10 mil (250 micron) thickness with beautiful results.
The TRANS-FORMER utilizes both vacuum below the film and positive air pressure above the film to form the film into even the most detailed profile with superior definition. Deep, intricate profiles and recessed finger pulls are no problem for the TRANS-FORMER. Machines that work with a membrane or with vacuum only cannot make this claim.
